Privacy Policy
Eff helps you track weekly effort, plan activities, review progress, and optionally share accountability through Premium Circles. This policy explains what information Eff collects, how it is used, and how to contact us.
Information we collect
Eff may collect account information such as your email address, profile name, authentication identifiers, and session state. Eff also stores the information you create in the app, including Goals, Saved Activities, Today plans, Activity Logs, weekly targets, notification preferences, Circle membership, invite codes, feedback messages, and related timestamps.
Premium Circles and purchases
If you use Premium Circles, Eff stores subscription entitlement status, Circle role, membership, invite state, shared progress summaries, and recent shared Activity Log summaries. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Eff receives subscription status and transaction identifiers needed to provide Premium access and reconcile missed subscription updates.
Diagnostics and feedback
Eff may collect privacy-safe diagnostic information to understand crashes, errors, sync failures, Premium purchase or restore failures, and app health. Feedback you submit in the app may include your message, account identifiers, profile name, email address, app version, device context, and timestamps so we can respond and diagnose issues.
How we use information
We use information to operate Eff, sync your data, restore your account, provide Premium Circles, process support requests, protect the service, debug problems, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
Eff shares limited progress information with members of your active Circle when Premium access allows it. Circle members can see shared accountability summaries and recent shared activity context, but they do not receive your full private account data. Service providers such as Supabase, Apple, Vercel, and Sentry may process information as needed to host, authenticate, bill, monitor, and deliver the app.
Retention and deletion
Eff keeps account and activity data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support subscription records. You can initiate account deletion in the Eff app from Profile & Account, or contact support for help with data requests.
Account deletion
You can initiate account deletion in the Eff app from Profile & Account. Deleting your account removes your Eff profile and associated app data unless retention is required by law. Apple subscription billing is managed separately in your Apple Account settings.
